DepEd shortens academic break; learners get only two days off
The Department of Education (DepEd) has announced that students will have a shorter academic break this school year. Instead of the usual five-day break, students will only have two days of academic rest during the midyear break.Here is a list of the key events happening in November:
Midyear Break and Holidays
November 1: All Saints DayNovember 25-29: Midyear Break
The midyear break is broken down as follows:
November 25 - 27 (Distance Learning): During the midyear break, learners shall be in distance learning.
November 28-29 (Academic Break): The learners will enjoy a 2-day academic break.

November 27 (Araw ng Pagbasa): A day dedicated to reading will be administered on November 27.
November 30 (Bonifacio Day): November 30 is a regular holiday.
Administration of the RMA (check-in): A separate memorandum will announce the Rapid Mathematics Assessment (RMA) schedule.
