The National Educators Academy of the Philippines (NEAP) and the Department of Education (DepEd) have officially launched the 2026 In-Service Training (INSET) offering. Titled "ILAW in Action: Design and Deliver Effective Lessons through Explicit Instruction," this free virtual training is highly suggested for all teachers to ensure readiness and alignment with the latest DepEd-endorsed instructional strategies for the upcoming school year.

Pre-service teachers, non-licensed teachers, and licensed teachers beyond the first 80K will be issued a non-CPD certificate if they register, attend live, and reach the passing score for the dates attended. 

REQUIRED STEPS TO GET A CERTIFICATE

1. Complete the registration form and pretest. Make sure your details are correct.
2. Attend the session/s live via MS Teams.
3. Reach the passing score for each session's post-test. Multiple retakes are allowed.

Complete the requirements to receive your Certificate of Participation on or before October 15, 2026.

Organized in partnership with the Gokongwei Brothers Foundation and STEM Collab, this three-day DepEd webinar focuses on maximizing Explicit Instruction to achieve clearer lesson design and more guided classroom implementation. Because this serves as the official DepEd NEAP INSET for 2026, school heads and administrators strongly encourage 100% participation from all teaching personnel.

Key Topics and PPST Alignment

Starting September 10, the INSET will cover essential foundations for effective teaching

Core Sessions: "Understanding the ILAW Framework and Its Role in Effective Teaching" and "Using Explicit Instruction within the ILAW Framework."

PPST Domains Targeted: The training directly aligns with the Philippine Professional Standards for Teachers (PPST), specifically Domains 1, 2, 3, and 7.
