WFH, Asynchronous Classes on Oct 31

The Office of the President issued a memorandum circular allowing work-from-home arrangements for government employees and asynchronous classes for public schools on Tuesday, October 31.

To ensure that government employees have the opportunity to observe All Saints' Day on 01 November 2023, the government has announced special arrangements for 31 October 2023.

On 31 October 2023, government offices will implement a work-from-home arrangement to allow employees to observe the holiday properly and to facilitate travel to and from different regions in the country. Additionally, public schools will conduct asynchronous classes to accommodate students and their families.

However, agencies responsible for delivering basic and health services, disaster and calamity preparedness/response, and other vital services will continue their usual operations and provide necessary services in person.

Private companies and schools can decide whether to implement a similar arrangement for their employees and students.

This circular is effective immediately, and all government agencies are expected to adhere to these guidelines to ensure a seamless observance of All Saints' Day.
