Changes in School Calendar for SY 2020-2021
Pursuant to the Basic Education Learning Continuity Plan (BE-LCP) and ensuring the continuity of learn the education amidst COVID 19 pandemic, there will be changes in the Department of Education (DepEd) School Calendar for SY 2020 2021 after the close of second quarter this February 2021 as confirmed by Usec. Diosdado M San Antonio and RD Gibert T. Sadsad though short of official issuance.
March 1-12, 2021 will be a period of Bridging Learning Gaps, intensifying learning gains and enrichment activities for fast learners.
This will also be the schedule to ensure the complete reproduction and delivery of the Self-Learning Modules.
March 15-19 will be the INSET for teachers, including Wellness Program.
Quarter 3 will start on March 22.2021 and will end on May 15. 2021, Quarter 4 will start on May 17, 2021 and will end on July 10, 2021.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
Per RD'S instruction:
In the absence of the memo, it was discussed during the National Mancom dated Feb 24, 2021 that there will be an academic break on March 1 to 12.
This is scheduled for remedial classes for the slow learners to catch up For the fast learners, this is the time for any enrichment activities
This is also a schedule to ensure complete reproduction and delivery of the SLMs.
March 15 to 19 will be the INSET. This is also the time for teachers to do the wellness program and nurturance of the physical aspects .
Quarter 3 will start on March 22, 2021 and will end on May 15, 2021.
Quarter 4 will start on May 17, 2021 and will end on July 10, 2021.
