Copilot Chat Asynchronous Training Activities and Practice Prompts for Teachers
The Copilot Chat training program for both Department of Education (DepEd) and non-DepEd teachers has officially transitioned to its asynchronous phase, with organizers emphasizing 10 structured activities and guided practice prompts as the core components.
Following the successful live webinar on May 30 via Microsoft Teams, participants are now expected to complete a series of hands-on tasks designed to help them integrate Microsoft Copilot Chat into real teaching scenarios.
Training Requirements and Certification
To qualify for Certificates of Completion and up to 10 CPD points, participants must complete the following:
- Pre-Assessment and Attendance Form
- Webinar Evaluation Form
- Asynchronous Session (for DepEd and non-DepEd teachers, starting June 2)
- Post-Test and Asynchronous Evaluation Form (available June 2)
Note: All submissions must be completed by June 4, 2026, at 5:00 PM.
9 Core Activities for Asynchronous Training
Organizers outlined a total of 9 guided components, ensuring a comprehensive and practical learning experience:
- Introduction
- Activity 1: Professional School Communication Using Copilot Chat
- Activity 2: Class Record Analysis, Narrative Report, and Presentation
- Activity 3: School Improvement Plan Presentation with Copilot Chat
- Activity 4: Creating a Differentiated Learning Activity Using Copilot Chat
- Activity 5: Developing a DepEd Curriculum-Aligned Lesson Plan Using Copilot Chat
- Activity 6: Developing a Project-Based Learning Activity Using Copilot Chat
- Activity 7: Creating an Infographic or Banner Using Copilot Chat
- Activity 8: Creating a Quiz, Exam, or Rubric
- Activity 9: Developing a Professional Growth Plan Using Copilot Chat
- Post-Test and Evaluation
Each activity requires participants to submit the exact Copilot prompt used, the generated output, and a short reflection.

🔹 Data Analysis and Narrative Report
"Analyze this class record Grade 8 - Amihan TLE Class Record.xlsx and generate visual data representations, including a bar graph, pie chart, and line graph, that clearly show student performance trends. Using the insights from the analysis, create a formal Microsoft Word (.docx) file output containing a 150–200 word Narrative Report summarizing overall class performance, key strengths, areas for improvement, learning gaps, contributing factors, and major data-driven trends. Format the document that follows DepEd format with a title section, headings, subheadings, paragraph-style narrative, clear professional tone, data-supported explanations, and actionable improvement strategies."
🔹 Detailed Lesson Plan Creation
"Create a complete Detailed Lesson Plan (DLP) for Grade 9 Edukasyon sa Pagpapakatao (EsP) focused on the topic 'Ang Katarungang Panlipunan sa Digital na Panahon: Netiquette at Cyber Security.' The lesson is intended for Grade 9 learners in a Filipino community with mixed learning levels. Follow the official DepEd DLP format and ensure the lesson is culturally responsive, inclusive, and contextualized for Filipino learners. Incorporate real-life examples, community practices, traditions, and local situations familiar to the learners aligned with the learning competency. The DLP must include measurable learning objectives, differentiated activities, and appropriate assessments, and must be presented in a Microsoft Word (.docx) file following the official template."

Use simple language, bright visuals, icons, and a clean, organized layout appropriate for young learners."
🔹 Assessment Development (Quiz/Exam Creation)
"Act as a certified DepEd teacher preparing a 60-item multiple-choice periodic written examination for Grade 7 learners in Domestic Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning (DRAC). Ensure all items are aligned with the learning competencies and Table of Specifications, reflect Bloom’s Taxonomy levels, and include real-life applications. Provide a complete answer key with explanations and compile everything in a Microsoft Word (.docx) file."
🔹 Professional Development Planning
"Act as a professional development planning assistant and create a clear and realistic Continuing Education Plan for a Grade 12 ICT teacher pursuing a Master of Arts in Education major in Educational Technology. Include professional goals, key competencies, SMART goals, CPD opportunities, and sustainable workload strategies, presented in a concise and organized Microsoft Word (.docx) format."
