Weather Update:
Due to the Southwest Monsoon and Tropical Cyclone OPONG, heavy rainfall is expected in various parts of the Philippines from today until Friday, September 26.Today through tomorrow afternoon, the Southwest Monsoon will bring significant rainfall to Zambales and Bataan, with moderate to heavy rain also anticipated in several other provinces in Luzon, including Occidental Mindoro. From tomorrow afternoon to Thursday afternoon,
Tropical Cyclone OPONG will contribute to moderate to heavy rainfall in Eastern Samar, while the monsoon continues to affect Occidental Mindoro. The heaviest rainfall is forecast for Thursday afternoon to Friday afternoon, when Tropical Cyclone OPONG is expected to bring 100-200 mm of rain to Catanduanes, Albay, Sorsogon, and parts of Samar, with moderate to heavy rain affecting a wide area from Luzon to the Visayas.
