Suspension of classes until December, 2020 recommended

Palace Spokesman Harry Roque during  the press briefing in Malacañang on April 21, 2020 reported that one of the recommendations during their meeting with President Rodrigo Duterte on Monday, April 20 is the suspension of classes until December, 2020.

The suspension of classes until December, 2020 according to SFOX Roque was recommeded by the University of the Philippines (UP).

"Wala pa pong desisyon ang presidente (The president has not yet made a decision)," said Roque.

(However, according to the data from UP, the youth are the ones who are usually involved in specially vulnerable groups such as senior citizens, this will be of great help to slow the spread of the disease if the classes are suspended until college level,)

On the other hand, the Department of Education (DepEd) published its official statement on the opening of classes for School Year 2020-2021 to clarify and answer some questions and inquiries running around on everyone's heads.
