Grant of FY 2024 Midyear Bonus to entitled personnel

Pursuant to DBM Circular No. 2017-2 dated May 8, 2017, titled "Rules and Regulations on the Grant of Midyear Bonus for FY 2017 and Subsequent Years," a mid-year bonus equivalent to one (1) month's basic pay will be granted to entitled personnel not earlier than May 15 of the current year, subject to the following conditions:

a. Personnel must have rendered at least a total or aggregate of four (4) months of service from July 1 of the immediately preceding year to May 15 of the current year.

b. Personnel must remain in government service as of May 15 of the current year.

c. Personnel must have obtained at least a satisfactory performance rating in the immediately preceding rating period or the applicable performance appraisal period. If a shorter period is necessary, it shall be at least 90 calendar days or 3 months, provided that the total or aggregate service under item 1 hereof is complied with.

d. Those who have rendered a total or aggregate of less than four (4) months of service from July 1 of the preceding year to May 15 of the current year, and those who are no longer in government service as of the latter date, shall not be entitled to the Midyear Bonus.

e. The Midyear Bonus of personnel who transferred from one agency to another shall be paid by the new agency.

f. Personnel formally charged with administrative and/or criminal cases, which are still pending resolution, shall be entitled to the bonus until found guilty by final and executory judgment, provided that:

- Those found guilty shall not be entitled to the benefit in the year of the finality of the decision. The personnel shall refund the midyear bonus received for that year.

- If the penalty imposed is only a reprimand, the personnel concerned shall be entitled to the benefit.

2. All qualified personnel under the Schools Division Office Proper, Elementary Schools, Non-Implementing Units Junior High Schools, and Senior High Schools shall be sourced from the SDO Proper Personal Services Allotment.

All qualified personnel whose payroll is under the Implementing Units (IUs) shall be sourced from the school's Personal Services allotment.
