GUIDELINES FOR THE DEPED-PCORP PILOT IMPLEMENTATION OF THE ENHANCED SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL WORK IMMERSION PROGRAM IN SELECTED SCHOOLS

1. The Department of Education (DepEd) issues the enclosed Guidelines on the Pilot Implementation of the Enhanced Senior High School (SHS) Work Immersion Program as the basis for the implementation of the Enhanced Work Immersion in SHS in selected schools in Regions I, III, IV-A, IV-B, V, VII, XI, CAR, and National Capital Region.
2. The Enhanced SHS Work Immersion Program aims to align students' work immersion experiences with current workforce demands by fostering strengthened partnerships with industry leaders and stakeholders.
3. This guideline on the enhanced work immersion program will be piloted exclusively in select SHSs that are specifically identified and covered under the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between DepEd and the Private Sector Jobs and Skills. Corporation (PCORP). Further, this Memorandum does not apply to SHSs that are not included in the pilot implementation.
4. Field offices and pilot schools are directed to review and implement the enclosed guidelines in close coordination with partner institutions and relevant stakeholders.
5. These guidelines will take effect starting school year (SY) 2025-2026 to SY 2026-2027 for pilot schools.
