DepEd Microsoft 365 Subscription Licence Renewal
Some of you may have recently received a pop-up notification regarding the impending expiration of your Microsoft 365 subscription, scheduled for May 31st. If you haven't yet seen this notification, please take a moment to check your account.
Here is the full text of the notification:
"Your school license will be deactivated soon on Thursday, May 30, 2024. Most features of Excel will be disabled. If you're still associated with your school, your admin needs to assign a license to your account to continue using Excel. Otherwise, choose an option below to reactivate:
• Start a free 30-day trial of Microsoft 365 Family
• Sign in with an account that has a Microsoft 365 license
• Use the free apps at Microsoft365.com
To address this issue, please follow these steps:
1. Sign in with an account that has a Microsoft 365 license.
2. Select the second option and log in with your DepEd Email account, the one without extension, i.e., xxxxxx.xxxx@deped.gov.ph, to continue using MS 365.
We've gathered some feedback from MS 365 users who have encountered similar problems:
1. "I just ignored it and I can still use it."
2. Our domain is NCR1 DepEd. We were reminded to use DepEd for both MS and Google accounts.
3. The same happened to my co-teacher. When I checked the account signed in on their device, it still had R4A, so I switched it to MS365 without R4A, and it worked fine.
4. Use the DepEd account without the region extension (NCR1). Mine is already working fine 😊
5. Our IT coordinator advised me to use my official DepEd account. Everything's fine now.
6. Just click "SIGN IN" and use your DEPED EMAIL without the Region number.

Gamit ko po both deped email and with region extension kaso same parin sakin... nag popop up parin ung notifiv=cation. ano po gagawin ko ehh need ko pa naman gamitin to ngayong nalalapit na end of school year
