How to add Middle Initial in VINSET 2.0 Certificates

Would you like to have a middle initial on your digital certificate from the DepED Learning Management System (LMS) website during the conduct of Virtual INSET 2.0 2021 or VINSET2 from August 30 to September 3, 2021?

You can do this by editing your name entry in your LMS Profile,


How to edit your profile in DepEd LMS

Please follow these steps.

1. Login to the DepEd LMS.
2. Click the inverted triangle located on the upper right side of the screen. It is beside your avatar.
3. SELECT Profile in the dropdown.
4. In the FiRST NAME field, add your middle initial. (RICHARD R.)
5. Scroll down and click Update profile.
6. Go back and Click SITE HOME.

Congratulations! 

You will be able to download your certificates with your middle initial already. Your corrected name will be reflected in your certificates already as indicated in the profile you edited.

The instruction on the first part is for general access especially for users with no DepEd email address.

Since the DepEd LMS is linked with DepEd Commons as it is authenticated, you need also to update your profile to avoid returning back to a name without a middle name.

How to update your profile in DepEd Commons.

You can do this by editing your name entry in your DepEd Commons, 

Please follow these steps.

1. Go to commons.deped.gov.ph/public and click the Login button.
2. Click Login as Teaching or Non-Teaching Personnel.
3. Click Continue with Google Account. Provide your DepEd email address.
4. On the upper right side of the screen, click the area where you locate your email address and select Edit Account.
5. For the First name, indicate your middle initial since that is the only sector box identified in the DepEd LMS.
6. Click the Update button.

Congratulations!

This time you will not update your profile from time to time in the DepEd LMS because you edit the profile from DepEd Commons as it is the basis for authenticating your account.
