Pres. Marcos approves 2025 Service Recognition Incentive (SRI) for gov't workers
President Ferdinand "Bongbong" R. Marcos Jr. has approved the 2025 Service Recognition Incentive (SRI). This one-time bonus, offering qualified government employees a maximum of P20,000, reflects the Administration's appreciation for the valuable contributions of public servants.
The incentive, authorized through a new Administrative Order 40 s2025, dated December 11, 2025, will be distributed to all eligible personnel in the Executive branch, including teachers, military, and uniformed personnel. Employees who have completed at least four months of satisfactory service by November 30, 2025, and remain in government service on that date will receive the full amount. Those with less than four months will get a pro-rated share. While the maximum amount is set, the final rate may vary across agencies since the SRI is charged against each agency's available funds for FY 2025. The Palace expects the payout to employees to begin no earlier than mid-December 2025, offering a timely holiday boost.
The 2025 Service Recognition Incentive (SRI) is a one-time bonus for eligible government workers, authorized by Administrative Order No. 40 , series of 2025, with a maximum of P20,000. To qualify for the full SRI, an employee must have completed at least four months of satisfactory service and still be employed as of November 30, 2025.
Employees with less than four months of service will receive a pro-rated amount: 40% for three to less than four months, 30% for two to less than three months, 20% for one to less than two months, and 10% for less than one month. Generally, those on job orders, contracts of service, or similar arrangements are excluded from coverage. While the maximum payout is P0,000, the actual amount may be lower across agencies depending on available funds, with the disbursement scheduled for no earlier than December 15, 2025.
