President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. has approved the Service Recognition Incentive (SRI) for 2023, granting qualified government workers a one-time incentive. The SRI will be a uniform amount not exceeding 20,000 pesos, depending on the length of service as of November 30, 2023. Employees with less than four months of service will receive a pro-rated amount. 

This incentive aims to recognize the commitment and dedication of government employees.The Service Recognition Incentive (SRI) for 2023 approved by President Marcos provides additional important details. Only regular, contractual, or casual employees in government service, including those in state universities and colleges, government-owned or controlled corporations, local government units, and public schools, are eligible. The funding for the SRI will come from the agencies' respective budgets, with the Department of Budget and Management ensuring that the grant of SRI is within the available personnel services allotment.
