PRC postpones March 2021 LET to September


The Professional Regulations Commission (PRC) announced Wednesday, February 10, the rescheduling of March 2021 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) on September 26, 2021.

PRC said that the postponement is pursuant to Resolution No. 1256, (s.2020), wherein Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT) is classified as a large-scale licensure examination that should not be administered during this pandemic, the "Professional Regulation Commission informs the public that the March 28, 2021 LEPT has been rescheduled to September 26, 2021," said announcement.


The LET will be administered in NCR, All Regional Offices, Zamboanga, Bacolod, Cauayan, Dumaguete, Catanduanes, Occidental Mindoro, Palawan, Romblon, Catarman, Jolo, Sulu, Tawi-tawi, Kidapawan and Laoag.

The Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) earlier approved the request of the PRC to proceed with the scheduled board exams from January to March 2021.

“The request of the Professional Regulation Commission to conduct and administer the licensure examinations for professionals scheduled for January to March 2021 was approved,” Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said in a statement.
