Salary Increase Table with Revised Withholding Tax Table for Teachers effective January 1, 2020

Here is the approved Salary Grade Table for Teachers under the Salary Standardization Law of 2019 (SSL V) Salary Schedule - effective January 1, 2020.

This Salary Grade Table is based from the salary Standardization Law signed by President Rodrigo Duterte on January 8, 2020.


President Rodrigo Duterte has signed into law Senate Bill No. 1219 also known as Salary Standardization Law of 2019 (SSL V), as a measure providing for another round of salary increase for workers in the government service.

The new Salary Standardization Law of 2019 will benefit government employees especially those under Salary Grade 11 to 19. It will be implemented in four tranches starting January 2020 and shall increase every year until 2023.

Under the new law, the salary adjustment will be given in four (4) tranches starting in January 2020 and upon full implementation, the basic salaries will increase by a weighted average of 23.24% by 2023.

The law provides the highest increase ranging from 20 to 30 percent for employees under SG 10 to SG 15. The minimum basic salary of a first level government employee will be increased to P13,000 from P11,068.

Those government workers occupying positions under SG 23 to 33 will be granted 8 percent salary increase.

REVISED WITHHOLDING TAX TABLE

Here's the simplified revised withholding tax table first implemented on January 1, 2018 under the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion or TRAIN Law. 

This Withholding Tax Table will be implemented until December 31, 2022.

dapat ipaliwanag yan tax na yan kung titingnan wala ka din increase abunado ka pa pagnagkaganun...ang dating ang dagdag bayad lang sa tax at gsis kulang pa...ano ba yan paano nyo ba masasabi na dagdag sweldo yan parang nilagay nyo lang tapos bawi..grabe...

sa totoo lang iyong nasa salary grade 17 and above walang increase na maidagdag sa sweldo, kulang pa nga sa Tax

Gusto ko lng iparating sa nakakataas Ang aking damdamin, tungkol SA aking salary adjustment from T2 to T3 pumasok n SA aking salary this April 2020 na Sana ay makadagdag SA akong take-home pay even 1k lng Sana ,pero Ang pumasok SA akong take-home pay ay P177 lng,Ang iba dumagdag SA BIR from 248 lng Naging 1,800k na at nadagdagan din Ang premium. Mas malaki p Ang ginastos ko SA pagproseso. Nakakadismaya!

Mas kawawa Yung salary grade 8. 700+ lng yung increase samantala kami Yung palaging umaalis at nagaprepare nang mga papers at ibang documents. Minsan Indi na kami binabayaran nang aming gastos
