DICT, ILCDB to host free 'Digital Citizenship' Webinar for Teachers with CPD Units
MANILA — In an effort to support the continuous professional growth of Filipino educators, a free and accredited Continuing Professional Development (CPD) training titled "Digital Citizenship" will be held on Thursday, May 28, 2026.
Spearheaded by the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) through the ICT Literacy and Competency Development Bureau (ILCDB) and the ICT Academy, the webinar aims to equip teachers with standard digital etiquette and promote responsible digital citizenship in the modern classroom.
The two-hour virtual session will run from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM via Zoom.
Limited Slots and Eligibility
Organizers announced that the training is strictly limited to the first 100 qualified registrants. It is open to all licensed professional teachers across all levels—Elementary, Secondary, and Tertiary—who are looking to enhance their teaching toolkit and fulfill their licensing requirements without any financial burden.
Qualified applicants will receive the official Zoom meeting link via email upon successful registration.
E-Certificate and CPD Requirements
Attendees who successfully complete the webinar will earn 1.5 CPD points. However, organizers emphasized that the e-certificates with CPD units will only be awarded to participants who fulfill the following strict training outputs:
- Perfect Attendance: Participants must maintain 100% attendance during the online session. Only those on the official participant list will be eligible for the certificate.
- Administrative Compliance: Attendees must accomplish the Attendance Tracker, Pre-Test, Post-Test, and the session evaluation on the day of the event.
- Passing Score: Participants must achieve a score of at least 80% across all given assessments.
