Estimated Eight Months Salary, Mid-year Bonus Differential Table

The Department of Budget and Management (DBM) announced that government employees will start receiving the first part of their salary increase this year. This increase will be retroactive to January 2024 and will be followed by additional raises each year until 2027.

The initial increase will average 4.41% for most employees (salary grades 1 to 31), bringing their pay closer to market rates. The lowest salary grade (SG 1) will see an increase of P530, bringing the minimum basic salary up to P13,530. Other lower grades (SG 1 to SG 10) will receive raises between 4% and 5.20%.

The funding for these salary increases will come from the Miscellaneous Personnel Benefits Fund and unprogrammed appropriations; the DBM has already signed the necessary budget circulars to implement these salary adjustments.
