DepEd Catanduanes announces suspension of work and classes on November 3
The Department of Education, Region V - Bicol, Schools Division Office of Catanduanes, issued an unnumbered memorandum suspending work and classes in the province.
Socorro V. Dela Rosa, CESO V, the Schools Division Superintendent, communicated the decision, citing Memorandum No. 280 s—2023 from the Provincial Local Government of Catanduanes. According to the announcement, work and classes will be suspended on October 31 and November 3, 2023. This suspension is in observance of All Saints' Day and All Souls' Day.
The memorandum underscores the importance of the break, aiming to give workers and students ample time to rest mentally and to visit their departed loved ones during the holidays.

1. Under Memorandum No. 280 s. 2023 issued by the Provincial Local Government of Catanduanes, work and classes are suspended on October 31, 2023, and November 3, 2023, in observance of All Saints' Day and All Souls' Day to provide workers and students with ample time to take a mental health break, as well as visit their departed loved ones.
