OFFICIAL STATEMENT: On the release of the 2021 Performance-Based Bonus
The Department of Education (DepEd) has released an official statement regarding their coordination with the Inter-Agency Task Force on the Harmonization of National Government Performance Monitoring, Information and Reporting Systems (AO25 Secretariat) and the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) on the Performance-Based Bonus (PBB) of its personnel.
According to the statement, DepEd has already submitted the requirements for staff eligible to receive the PBB for 2021 to the AO25 Secretariat, and it is currently undergoing assessment. The Department is looking forward to the release of the PBB as soon as possible.
The statement also addressed the recent spread of misinformation about the PBB, warning DepEd personnel not to fall for false claims and rumors fabricated by shadowy groups masquerading as concerned parties. Such tales aim to create distrust and anger against the agency and its actions.
DepEd reassures its personnel that they will continue to adhere to the guidelines and regulations set forth by AO25 Secretariat and DBM regarding the PBB. The Department remains committed to its mission of providing quality education and support to its staff.
