DBM releases SARO for one-time rice allowance assistance for gov't employees
The Deoartment of Budget and Management (DBM) has released the
Special Allotment Release Order (SARO) for the grant of One-Time Rice Allowance Assistance for all qualified government employees.
The SARO with number SARO-BMB-C-23-0015773 amounting to 1,182,905,000.00 was released on April 12, 2023 to cover the funding requirement for the grant of the one-time rice assistance to all employees and workers of the national government for FY 2022 pursuant to Administrative Order No. 2 dated December 16, 2022, as approved by the Office of the President dated January 24, 2023.
As per Administrative Order No. 2 signed by President Marcos, eligible government employees will receive a one-time rice allowance of 25 kilograms each. This assistance is exclusively for those who are still employed by government agencies as of November 30, 2022.
