DepEd releases SHS voucher application guidelines for SY 2022-2023
The Department of Education (DepEd) has released the Guidelines on Eligibility and Application for the Senior High School Voucher Program for the incoming School Year 2022-2023.
DepEd issued DepEd Order No. 032 series of 2022 to provide details on the requirements, procedure, and
schedule for voucher application, from qualification to redemption, as well as other information relative to SHS VP application.
These guidelines shall have national applicability, effective for vouchers that will be redeemed in SY 2022-2023.
The SHS VP application period opened on June 29, 2022, allowing interested applicants to begin creating their Online Voucher Application Portals (OVAP) and submitting their applications.
Interested applicants can set up their OVAP accounts only until July 22, 2022.
Applications for the SHS VP slot on OVAP must be submitted by July 29 (deadline).
The forwarding of processed applications to DepEd was scheduled for Aug. 12.
The posting of application results and the start of voucher redemption will be on Aug. 22.
DepEd clarified that the application for the SHS VP will be done online only, thus “no manual applications will be accepted.”
