DepEd proposes August 22 for the opening of next school year
DepEd's proposed calendar for the school year 2022-2023
Based on the proposed Department of Education (DepEd) School Calendar for the next school year (sy) 2022-2023, the first day of classes will formally start on August 22, 2022 (Monday), and shall end on July 7, 2023 (Friday).
There shall be a total of 215 class days in the proposed school calendar, 11 weeks per quarter.
Not like the present school year, Saturday will no longer be included as class days if the proposed school calendar will be approved.
These are the proposed number of class days per month.
