The LandBank of the Philippines (LANDBANK) on Sunday, March 22 in its official Facebook page posted #LANDBANKClientAdvisory about the new scheme called "Vishing" or latest modus operandi of fraudsters that trick account holders into revealing critical financial information over the telephone.
"To avoid becoming a victim of vishing, secure your bank account with these friendly reminders," said post.
What is Vishing?
Vishing is other term for Voice or VoIP Phishing. It is the latest modus operandi of fraudsters that trick account holders into revealing critical financial information over the telephone.

To be safe from fraudsters never divulge your Card Number, Card Expiry Number, Credit Verification Value (CVV), One-Time Pin (OTP), User ID and Password.
Remember that any bank will never ask for your finacial information.
