The Department of Education Uniform Committee (DUC) for School Years 2020-2021 and 2021-2022 through the issuance of DepEd Memorandum No. 017, s. 2020 was created to facilitate and prepare the guidelines for the selection of the uniform designs and materials that will be most appropriate and suitable for the teachers and non-teaching employees.

Accordingly, the DUC recommended to the ExeCom new sets of uniform designs to be implemented for teaching and non-teaching personnel for School Years 2021-2022 and 2021-2022.

In view of this, the DepEd announces the decision of the ExeCom that there will be new sets of national uniforms to be used by the DepEd personnel; four (4) sets for the Teaching and two (2) sets for the Non-Teaching Personnel for School Years 2020-2021 to 2021-2022, with consideration of the following guidelines:

The design of the uniforms will be in the simplest form to allow unrestricted movement. No specific textile/ fabric will be prescribed, for as long as the fabric used will follow the guidelines set that will be captured in a separate memorandum to be released by the end of April 2020, or when regular/ normal operations resume.

The annual clothing and uniform allowance in the amount of Six Thousand Pesos (P6,000.00) shall be released to all personnel, immediately upon the release of the Notice of Cash Allocation from DBM,
