TROPICAL DEPRESSION "NIMFA" MAINTAINS ITS STRENGTH WHILE MOVING SLOWLY OVER THE PHILIPPINE SEA.

At 3:00 AM today, the center of Tropical Depression "NIMFA" was estimated based on all available data at 670 km East of Basco, Batanes (20.8 N, 128.4 E) with maximum sustained winds of 55 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 70 km/h. It is almost stationary. Meanwhile, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on all available data in the vicinity San Jose, Tarlac (15.5 N, 120.5 E). Southwest Monsoon affecting Central and Southern Luzon and Western Visayas.
