If Eidul Adha or "Feast of Sacrifice," falls on Monday, August 12 then it will be declared by President rodrigo Duterte as non-working holiday.

Eidul Adha (Feast of the Sacrifice) is a Muslim celebration that honors the willingness of Ibrahim to obey Allah and also commemorates the end of the Hajj (pilgrimage to Mecca).


According to some sources, Eid al-Adha Eidul Adha or "Feast of Sacrifice," falls under Dhu al-Hijjah, which is on the twelfth month of the Islamic calendar, which is considered as particularly sacred month in the year. Muslims celebrate this feast every tenth day of the month, which changes each year.

August 12, 2019 is considered as a regular holiday for Eid'l Adha
If Eidul Adha falls on August 12, Filipinos will have two long weekends this month – August 10-12 and August 24-26 for National Heroes' Day weekend.

Aside from these, August 21 (Wednesday), will also be a special (non-working) holiday for Ninoy Aquino Day.

If this is legit, and  f this will be the basis of the president in declaring Eidul Adha then August 12, 2019 will be a regular working day.
