During the transport strike next week, students who won't be able to attend in-person classes "should be allowed to continue learning through Alternative Delivery Modes," according to DepEd spokesperson Michael Poa.

There won't be a suspension of classes, according to DepEd, Poa said.

Several universities and schools suspended face-to-face classes at all levels for both public and private schools for the duration of the nationwide transport strike scheduled on March 6-12.

The Marikina Local Government Unit (LGU) suspended face-to-face classes at all levels for public and private schools in the city on March 6-12. Schools shall implement alternative learning modalities such as modular or online classes.

Face-to-face classes in private and public schools in Angeles City are suspended from March 6 to 10 due to the possible participation of jeeps in the city in the nationwide transport strike. EO No. 10, signed by Mayor Carmelo Lazatin, Jr., encourages schools to first conduct modular and online classes for affected students.

District 5, Bulacan State University will implement  Synchronous Online Classes on March 6-11, 2023, in anticipation of a Nationwide transport strike.

National Teachers College - In view of the impending weeklong nationwide transport strike, classes at all levels will be online from March 6 to 11, 2023. Kindly check your School-based groups for the links to the online classes, which will be posted ASAP.

Offices, however, will be on skeleton workforce onsite to attend to onsite transactions during the period.

In a newly issued memorandum, the Technological University of the Philippines - Manila has declared that the university will hold online classes from Monday, March 6, to Friday, March 10, 2023, due to a scheduled nationwide transport strike.

In the event of a nationwide transport strike next week, STI Sta. Mesa will implement the transition of onsite classes at all levels to online mode for March 6–7 only.
