Free Training for DepEd Non-Teaching Personnel (LINANG Program)

The Department of Education (DepEd) is placing a strong emphasis on the continuous professional development of its non-teaching workforce by rolling out the FY 2026 External Learning & Development Interventions (ELDIs). In a move to maximize participation in these crucial capacity-building programs, the pre-registration deadline has been officially extended to June 5, 2026, at 12:00 PM.

Empowering the Non-Teaching Workforce

Historically, many professional development initiatives focus heavily on educators; however, this memorandum explicitly targets the empowerment of non-teaching staff. The ELDIs serve as a central pillar of DepEd's FY 2026 LINANG (Learning Interventions for Navigating Advancements and Nurturing Growth) Program.

These specialized, external E-learning courses are tailored to directly upskill non-teaching staff by strengthening their core, functional, and leadership competencies to ultimately enhance public service delivery across the department.

To underscore the importance of this training:

• Fully Funded: To remove financial barriers, the registration fees for all selected participants will be entirely shouldered by the DepEd Central Office.
• Targeting School-Based Staff: Recognizing the vital role of administrative support in schools, DepEd regions are highly encouraged to boost the participation of Administrative Officer II (AO II) personnel to support their continuous professional growth.
• Leadership Support: Heads of offices are strictly enjoined by the Office of the Undersecretary to encourage and support their personnel's active participation in these interventions.

Eligibility Requirements

The training is exclusively open to First and Second-Level Field Non-Teaching Personnel (NTP) stationed at DepEd Regional Offices (ROs), Schools Division Offices (SDOs), and public elementary and secondary schools.

Eligible employees must hold one of the following employment statuses:

• Permanent
• Contractual
• Co-terminus

Extended Deadline and Registration Links

The deadline extension to June 5, 2026, was granted to give applicants ample time to prepare their necessary documentary requirements. Furthermore, all SDO HRDS-SEPS and EPS II personnel have been tasked with actively facilitating the registration of nominated non-teaching staff.
