GSIS introduces "Ginhawa Bundles": New Flexible Loan Programs for Government Employees

MANILA, Philippines — The Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) has officially launched its "Ginhawa Bundles," a comprehensive financial solution designed to provide flexible and accessible credit options for its members.

The program offers three distinct loan tiers—Lite, Flex, and Max—to address the varying financial needs of public servants, ranging from minor expenses to significant capital needs.

Ginhawa Lite: For Immediate Needs

The Lite bundle is designed for members seeking quick, small-scale financial assistance.

• Loanable Amount: Minimum of ₱5,000 to a maximum of ₱50,000.
•  Repayment Term: Flexible terms of 6, 12, 18, or 24 months.
• Service Fee: 1% of the gross loan amount (waived for members with an active Ginhawa Flex account).

Ginhawa Flex: For Long-Term Flexibility

This option provides a larger credit line with the longest available repayment period.
•  Loanable Amount: Up to 14 times the member's basic monthly salary, with a credit limit of ₱5 million.
• Repayment Term: Payable for up to 15 years.
•  Service Fee: 2% of the gross loan amount.

Ginhawa Max: For Maximum Financial Support

The Max bundle is tailored for those requiring substantial funds, with lower overhead costs.
•  Loanable Amount: Up to ₱5 million or 19 times the member's basic monthly salary, whichever is lower.
•  Repayment Term: Payable for up to 10 years.
•  Service Fee: None.

Standard Interest Rates

All three bundles feature a competitive interest rate of 6% to 7% per annum, making them among the most affordable lending options available to government personnel.

By launching these bundles, GSIS aims to put "flexible financial support at the fingertips" of its members, ensuring they have reliable options to manage their finances effectively.
