BAWAS-SUBJECT: DepEd to focus on Mathematics, English

“We are really geared towards having in-person classes because we really saw that it is beneficial to have interaction between students and physically being in class, and physically being monitored and taught by our teachers,” Poa told “The Chiefs” on One News Thursday in a virtual interview.

On 'The Chiefs' program of ONE News Spokesperson Atty. Michael Poa said that the Department of Education (DepEd) is developing programs to ease the basic education curriculum and give attention to subjects like Mathematics and Reading. This plan is the visible solution to the learning gap of students.

“We are really geared towards having in-person classes because we really saw that it is beneficial to have interaction between students and physically being in class, and physically being monitored and taught by our teachers,” said Poa in a virtual interview.
