DepEd employees receive Smart SIM with DepEd 349 Plan

The Department of Education (DepEd) started already the distribution of sim cards with connectivity load to its teaching and non-teaching personnel to ensure to ensure ease in communication and unhampered delivery of services in the midst of COVID-19 pandemic.

"All sim cards that are not distributed to school and SDO personnel by the end of July 2021 should be returned to the Division Supply Officer for appropriate accounting. The same applies to the Regional Supply Officer for RO personnel," said memorandum.

Recipients of SIM Cards shall register through https://depedconnect.com.ph/. 

"All sim cards will be activated with an initial 34GB load on 30 June 2021, which will be usable for one year. Sim cards which are not registered on the website will not be loaded for the second month. " said memorandum.

SIM cards will be loaded with DepEd 349 Plan with 34 GB of mobile data monthly. Recipients will receive 1 GB data upon activation of the SIM Card.

What is DepEd 349 Plan for DepEd employees

DepEd employees will receive a Smart SIM loaded with DepEd 349 Plan. 

• DepEd 349 Plan offers 34 gigabytes (GB) Monthly Data Allowance
• 1.02 GB Study Anywhere (Daily Limit. Renews daily for 30 days with a total of 30Gb per month) 
• 4.10 GB Shareable Data (Additional extra data per month. Excess usage in the "Study Anywhere" will deduct here)
• 100MB Free Data from GigaLife
