Early Christmas break for learners starts December 13
Christmas break for public school learners is coming early as the Department of Education (DepEd) issued updated school calendar for School Year 2020-2021.
From the adjusted school calendar, first academic quarter started on October 5 and will end on December 12, 2020. the second quarter shall be from January 4, 2020 to February 27, 2021, third quarter shall be from March 1, 2021 to April 24. 2021 and the fourth quarter shall be from April 25, 2021 to June 11, 2021.
With this new adjustment, the holiday break for learners shall start on Saturday, December 13, 2020 and ends on Sunday, January 3, 2021, while the teachers will have their in-service training on December 14-19, 2020.
