Update on PBB 2018 release date

This latest PBB 2018 update was posted by Undersecretary Annalyn M. Sevilla, DepEd-Finance Undersecretary on her facebook page, Thursday, April 16, 2020.

April 16 - "The Department of Education (DepEdI is coordinating directly with the AO 25 Inter-Agency Task Force (AO25-IATF) and the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) on implementing new strategies to expedite the release of the PBB amid challenges brought about by the COVID-19 situation."

"DBM is processing the PBB evaluation of other regional offices on a first come, first served basis and funding will be released straight from DBM-ROs to DepEd-School Division Offices (SDOs)."

The PBB funds for school-based personnel of five DepEd ROs (region II, IV-A, V, VI and XII) which passed the evaluation of the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) - Organization,  Position Classification and Compensation Bureau (OPCCB) were already endorsed by the DBM for processing and eventual release.

As of April 13, 2020, the PBBs of Region III, IV-B, VII, VIII and NCR are processed by DBM-OPCCB, while the PBBs for Regions I, VI, IX, X, CAR and CARAGA are for endorsement.

The Department also constantly follows up on the request for reconsideration to grant PBB to Non-School-Based personnel.
