Navotas City Mayor suspends classes for March 9, request automatic passing for all students

Classes in Navotas City have been cancelled for Monday, March 9, 2020 as a precautionary measure against the possible spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).

Mayor Toby Tiangco of Navota City, Saturday, March 7, 2020 declared class suspensions in all levels, public and private as a precautionary measure against the possible spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).

"#WalangPasok sa Lunes March 9,2020 sa lahat ng antas magmula kndergarten hangang college, sa lahat ng paaralan sa #Navotas both public and private," tweeted by the mayor Tiangco.

The mayor also requested from the Department of Education (DepEd) automatic passing for all the learners.

"at ako ay nakikiusap sa #deped na automatic passing para sa lahat," said Mayor Tiangco in his twitter post.
