DepEd postpones Year-end Review and Evaluation of RPMS

According to  Facebook post of Undersecretary Annalyn M. Sevilla of the Department of Education (DepEd), on Tuesday, March 17,  the Year-end Review and Evaluation Phase of the RPMS Cycle, SY 2019-2020, which includes year-end review and assessment, evaluation of portfolio and computation of final rating, shall be postponed temporarily and shall resume once authorities issue a declaration of safety for all DepEd employees.




"We will release a Memorandum ASAP containing the guidelines and adjusted schedule of RPMS SY 2019-2020 Year-end Activities in light of our country’s COVID-19 situation," said post,

"Rest assured that the Department is taking considerate measures on year-end performance assessment to give way to more urgent and pressing concerns our school-based personnel have to face in this current national situation,” ended Sevilla's post.

According to post, this information came from DepEd - Bureau of Human Resource and Organizational Development (DepEd-BHROD).

The DepEd-BHROD is an integration of the following offices from the previous organizational structure: Management Division, and Human Resource Development Service which then composed of Personnel Division, Employee Welfare and Benefits Division. BHROD continues to build on its roots through strengthening effective existing programs and putting in place strategic Human Resource and Organization Development (HROD) systems, programs and mechanisms.
