Malacañang declared Monday, 04 November 2019, a special non-working holiday in the Province of Quezon. November 4 marks the death anniversary of its hero Apolinario dela Cruz, also known as Hermano Puli.
The declaration said it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Province of Quezon be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies;
The declaration was signed by SALVADOR C. MELDIALDEA, Executive Secretary, by the authority of the President, RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE on October 25, 2019.
WHEREAS, on 04 November 2019, Monday, the Province of Quezon will mark the death anniversary of its local hero Apolinario dela Cruz, also known as Hermano Puli; and
WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Province of Quezon be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, SALVADOR C. MELDIALDEA, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE, do hereby declare Monday, 04 November 2019, a special (non-working) day in the Province of Quezon.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed. Done in the City of Manila, this 25th day of October, in the year of our Lord, Two Thousand and Nineteen. By authority of the President SALVADOR C. MEDIALDEA Executive Secretary."
