Gov't professionals are granted one day on official time to renew their PRC ID

Attendance in CPD and Renewal of PRC ID on official time. The Civil Service Commission (CSC) has issued Memorandum Circular No. 18 series of 2018 (M.C. No. 18, s. 2018) entitled “Attendance in Continuing Professional Development Courses and Renewal of Professional Identification Cards (PICs) on Official Time” granting government professionals to renew their PICs on official time in conjunction with the CSC Resolution No. 1800923 dated August 29, 2018 published on September 21, 2018 in the Philippine Star and took effect on October 07, 2018.


This CSC Memorandun Circular allows the government professionals to attend the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Courses to meet the required CPD units as prescribed by by their respective Professional Regulatory Board of the Implementing Rules and Regulations of the CPD Act on official time pursuant to the existing Continuing Professional Development Act of 2016 (Republic Act 10912).

Moreover, all government professionals are granted one (1) day on official time for every three years for the renewal of their Professional Indentification cards (PICs).
