How to fix the LIS website "Your connection is not private' message

Issue
“Your connection is not private” or “Net::ERR_CERT_DATE_INVALID” error appears on screen due to the SSL error. SSL (secure sockets layer) is used by websites to keep all the information you enter on their pages private and secure.

Cause
lis.deped.gov.ph normally uses encryption to protect your information. When Google Chrome tried to connect to lis.deped.gov.ph this time, the website sent back unusual and incorrect credentials. This may happen when an attacker is trying to pretend to be lis.deped.gov.ph, or a Wi-Fi sign-in screen has interrupted the connection. Your information is still secure because Google Chrome stopped the connection before any data was exchanged.

You cannot visit lis.deped.gov.ph right now because the website uses HSTS. Network errors and attacks are usually temporary, so this page will probably work later.

RESOLVED: July 14, 2019
Follow this method to resolve the issue :

Open in Incognito Mode
1. On your keyboard, press Ctrl + Shift + N to open an incognito window.  You will get this darkened display or incognito mode.

Now you can browse privately, and other people who use this device won’t see your activity. However, downloads and bookmarks will be saved

2. Type the web address (lis.deped.gov.ph).

Congratulations! You are now inside the LIS website.

(If it still doesn't work, please read our new update at the bottom of this page)

UPDATE!

In case you get the same message at the incognito mode.  Click "Advanced" and then 'Proceed."
