Beware teachers! This new scam is targeting Land Bank clients

Don’t be alarmed if you get this deceitful e-mail.

The Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP) has issued another warning to their account holders to alert them of the new strategy of scammers.

The new scheme involves an alarming message on email that the recipient’s Landbank account has been “locked,” and that he or she has to click a link and provide some personal information to be able to unlock it or gain access again.


“Whatever you do - don’t click!,” Landbank reminded. “That email or text could contain a phishing software that may steal sensitive data, your personal information such as banking or credit card details, and online passwords.”

Land Bank added that they will never ask you for your PIN, CVC, or any sensitive data via email.
