New RPMS Tool for Teacher I-III (Proficient Teachers) in the time of COVID-19 for S.Y. 2021-2022


The wait is finally over! The Department of Education issues DepEd Memorandum (DM) No. 004, s. 2022 or the Implementation of the Results-Based Performance Management System-Philippine Professional Standards for Teachers (RPMS-PPST) for School Year 2021-2022.

This DM provides for the guidelines on the performance management and appraisal of teachers using the remaining 18 indicators in the RPMS-PPST as well as the necessary tools, forms, and protocols applicable to all types of learning modalities. Lastly, this DM shall also cover Teachers and Master Teachers in all public elementary and secondary schools and community learning centers (CLCs), including those Teachers and Master Teachers who are reassigned as full-time Teacher-Broadcasters in DepEd Central Office (CO).

BHROD STATEMENT ON UNOFFICIAL RPMS-PPST 9TOOLS CIRCULATING VARIOUS ONLINE PLATFORMS

There have been reports that draft versions of the RPMS-PPST Tools for SY 2021-2022 have been circulating Facebook groups, chat groups, pages, and other social media platforms.

Upon checking by the BHROD, the tools that were unofficially released online are outdated versions that were first presented in previous consultation activities.

Therefore, we advise all teachers to refrain from downloading these unofficial materials from websites and other sources. These tools contain outdated and inaccurate means of verification (MOVS) and performance indicators for SY 2021-2022.

We urge all field personnel to wait for the release of the official RPMS-PPST Tools for SY 2021-2022 through the issuance of a memorandum that will be released through our DepEd website (www.deped.gov.ph).

Furthermore, we implore all teachers, RPMS focals, and field officials to be vigilant and report any unauthorized distribution of these draft RPMS-PPST tools to the BHROD through email bhrod.hrdd@deped.gov.ph.
